Lenovo unveils worlds first foldable PC
Lenovo probably had two steps ahead of leaving behind the
trends of the forthcoming smartphones. Companies are working on several new
technology related to foldable smartphones, displays. Lenovo brought a personal
computer with a foldable screen while doing new experiments in this episode.
However, this first foldable PC in the world is still a prototype. This means
that the company will work on it in the future.
Lenovo has been working on this Foldable PC for more than 3
years now. The company claims that this device will be launched by 2020. This
Foldable PC will come under Lenovo's premium ThinkPad X1 brand. The goal of the
company is that this device comes in the form of an accessories or secondary
computer and comes as a laptop-class premium product.
Now the question arises that what is the need for a
Foldable PC? The answer is primarily portability. However, most companies are
reversing it. Samsung and Huawei's FolDable smartphones are working on larger
phones than the size of regular smartphones. The Idea behind the Foldable
ThinkPad is to make it smaller by taking a full size PC.
This foldable PC will come with 13.3 inch 4: 3 2K OLED
display, which will be folded as hardcover of a book. There is no specific
information in the bar of its hardware. Even in the case of specifications, the
company is still not telling anything, but this PC may run on Windows and Intel
will offer the CPU. Not much can be said
about Lenovo's Folding Thinkpad at this time because the details of this
device's price, release date, specifications, etc. are not present right now.
Yet Lenovo's can be called a big project or idea.
